The Neuro Defence Program Difference
Martial Arts, Reimagined for Neurodiversity
Neuro Defence eliminates the sensory and structural barriers of traditional martial arts. By integrating clinical insights from Florence Strang and Dr. Annie Clements, we have engineered a neuro-friendly curriculum and environment where students don’t just participate—they thrive.
Our Approach
Sensory-Friendly Design:
Quiet, low-clutter environments with "break zones" to support emotional regulation.
Clinically-Backed:
Developed in consultation with psychologists to replace confusing curricula with strength-based, individualized learning.
Non-Contact & Flexible:
We prioritize personal progress over rigid competition, adapting every lesson to the student’s unique talents.
Family-Centered:
Active parental involvement and online resources ensure lessons at the dojo translate to success at home.
